Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get asked about the Dura brick panel range.

 

What is a fake, imitation or faux Dura brick panel?

DuraBric makes lightweight Dura brick panels with different brick veneers. The brick-face is made up of a thin layer of individual ‘bricks’ made of washed sand and a water-based polymer adhesive. Find out more.

What size do DuraBric panels come in?

All DuraBric panels supplied are 1800 x 600mm. But panels can be cut to fit your space as required.

How much does a Dura brick panel cost?

DuraBric panels cost less than $110 per square metre of coverage.

How many square metres does a panel cover?

Each Dura brick panel covers 1.08m2

Are DuraBric panels fast and easy to install?

Yes, DuraBric panels are fast and easy to install. Which means installation costs are much lower than traditional brick work.

What is the weight of each panel?

Each Dura brick panel weighs approximately 10kg. However, there may be slight variations in the weight, depending on which DuraBric profile you choose. If load limitations are a consideration, then DuraBric panels are a great solution.

Can DuraBric panels be used on outside walls?

Yes. But, panels MUST be completely sealed with an acrylic waterproof/membrane paint before installing. Full instructions for outdoor installation are on the How to Install page.

How many brick styles do DuraBric panels come in?

DuraBric panels come in 15 different Dura brick styles.

There are five standard brick finishes

Three cinderblock finishes:

  • Dura CinderBlock 2
  • Dura CinderBlock 3
  • Dura CinderBlock 4

Four thin brick finishes:

  • Dura SlimBric 10
  • Dura SlimBric 12
  • Dura SlimStack 10
  • Dura SlimStack 12

DuraBric also comes in three patterned styles:

  • CrossHatch 2
  • CrossHatch 3
  • Herringbone

Can I choose a different Dura brick style?

If your retail or commercial fit-out needs a different or unique brick style, we can design a custom brick profile. Contact us to discuss your project.

What colours do DuraBric panels come in?

Durabric panels are delivered in a natural sand finish. This means you can apply any colour or finish you desire after installation.

What is the lead time?

The lead time is usually 5 – 10 working days from the date of payment. Delivery to some locations in Australia and overseas may take longer. Once you have placed your order we can confirm a delivery date.
