How to finish your brick wall decor

DuraBric panels are supplied unfinished so you can create the colour and style of brick wall decor you want. From a simple one colour surface to a visual masterpiece, the options are endless. To get the best results follow these guidelines:

• Only use ACRYLIC paints and sealers
• DO NOT use enamel products or thinners – they may cause the bricks to soften
• Panels MUST be completely sealed with an acrylic waterproof/membrane paint before installing on an outdoor surface.

RECOMMENDED FINISHING PRODUCTS

Whether you’re looking for branded consistency across a chain of stores or an individual masterpiece DuraBric is the perfect canvas. Over time we’ve tried and tested a range of finishing products on our panels. Here are our top recommendations:

Interior walls

• use a textured paint for the best finish, usually only requires two coats
• Dulux Acra Tex – fine or medium finish works best, tint to your chosen colour
• Rockcote – quality renders, textures and paints, tint Portofino to your chosen colour
• laser printing – yes that’s right our panels can also be laser printed!

Exterior walls

IMPORTANT: panels MUST be completely sealed with an acrylic waterproof/membrane paint before installing. Go to How to Install for detailed instructions.

• Crommelin Fix & Finish comes in 8 pre-mixed colours or you can tint to a specific colour.
